They shouldn't even launch Live 8 without this working right!!!!.
They (Ableton quarters) should be more carefull with this because this is serious issue I think. Every time I load up the Glitch vst, my audio cuts in and out and changes speed and stutters and I think I even get some weird frequency modulation sounds.

However i'm sure they'll sort this out soon as the VSTs that don't work were able to communicate with ableton7 (ie if you moved a parameter on the plugin's GUI the corresponding parameter in ableton would move). Luckily if you have something from ableton7 - a clip or project using that VST, you can access the first 128 parameters at least can allways try to put couple of difrent fx (flangrer, gater, delay,or any other fx) on a chanel and then turn them on randomly in sequnece. z3ta+, fm7, predatohm, lots of freeware VSTs too - totally unautomatable! It has an adjustable length (64 steps max) effects sequencer, and comes with 16 custom pattern banks.
